where to find wifi driver
Hi,
I use the wifi adaptor, Edimax AC1200, and its driver can be downloaded from 'http://www.edimax.com.tw/edimax/download/download/data/edimax/tw/download/for_home/wireless_adapters/wireless_adapters_ac1200_dual-band/ew-7822ulc'.
I fail to compile its GPL Source Code on CentOS 7.4.

Centos7 USB wifi recommendation
I am looking for one of those very small USB wifi adapters for the
server I am working on. I am tired of dealing with the 4" long TP-LINK
I have and for my purposes, one of those little 1cm ones would do. But
which work with Linux? When I was last in the store, only the TP-LINK
said it was supported on Linux...
thanks

Multi-ISP :- Multi-Wan Broadband Router Appliance VS Multiple eth Linux routing
Hi all
I need to use three 512 kbps aDSL internet connections, in a load-sharing,
link-failover scenario. Presently I am using Ipcop with a single DSL. Now, I
seem to have two options...one..an Edimax quad wan port adsl router, with
firewalling and NAT and second install a minimal linux distro for
routing...something on the lines of LARTC....and keep NATTING, IDS &
Firewalling on the linux box, so that I can manage IDS/IPS slowly as I learn
to do. However, I presently don''t have the...

I've used the Edimax EW-7811Un on various flavors of Linux and BSD without
problems,

$8.99 USD and free shipping on Amazon.

Gustavo Courault <courault at gigared.com> has solved this for me with
the following advice and I have enclosed my smb.conf file in case it
may help anyone, I'm running Samba-2.2.2 and CUPS printing to a
Epson-777 injet via a Edimax $40 printserver attached to the back of
the printer with a static IP address assigned to the printer.
My OS is RedHat-6.2

Broadcom BCM4360
Everyone,
I just purchased a new wfi card?that is identified as using lspci as :
Broadcom Limited BCM4360 802.11ac Wireless Network Adapter (rev 03)
I have not been able to get it to work Centos 7.4 machine. Some of the
centos user posts had indicated the nux repsitory had a Centos 7 kmod-
wl, but it is not present when I tried to search or or install it at
this time.
Has anyone had any

I see. We all have to make use of what we have.
Another option is to add a USB wifi dongle, such as
https://www.amazon.com/Edimax-EW-7811Un-150Mbps-Raspberry-Supports/dp/B003MTTJOY
$7.99 including shipping and it is pretty plug-and-play.

So far I have the network setup and I can see all shares on all machines BUT I can only print when the imac is switched on.
The printer is not connected directly to the Imac it is connected to my BT Home Hub via an Edimax ps-1206mf print server and previously this was managed by a application in windows xp called mfp manager (MFP Manager is needed to run the scanner built into the printer).
I have had various attempts at geting this app to run under wine the installer runs its course on the eeepc and gives various...

[win2k] Epson777 "IT WORKS !!!!!"
Hello Family,
(smb.conf file attached)
Well I was here messing with the smb.conf file and don't ask me why
or how but here it is and it prints to the Epson777 Stylus
color inkjet with a "Edimax Mini Print Server" attached to the
back with a static IP from Windows2000.
The only slight quirk is that the "Epson Status Monitor" pops up
looking for the printer trying to find "ink levels" I guess.
I did do another thing too, that was to delete the Epson drivers
from...
