While the installation from CD went fine, after configuring and enabling my ed0 NIC, bad things start to happen. Hi, I am using IPFW on FreeBSD 4.11 I am facing two problems: - SSH sessions timeout after a while - When I run "/sbin/ipfw -q -f flush" in the rules script all connection get reset (and I am thrown out of the box). Doug, I remove ed config from rc.conf and system boots up without any error messages. When I try to config interface manually (ifconfig ed0 ***) then I saw it again. Is it ifconfig problem? Hello guys, I'm at my wits end.. hope someone can help.. this is the deal. I have setup a linux box to serve as a "gateway" for our internal lan. Running 2.0.34 slakware. I have 2 nic cards.. Hello, I am having a problem with a new server running FreeBSD 4.9-PRERELEASE. Once every two days or so, it reboots itself.. there is no exact time of the day it reboots.. It rebooted itself at 4:25 PM EDT on 9/25, and 3:05 AM EDT on 9/29 (today).
