Jpackage tomcat55-common-lib requires eclipse-ecj >= 0:3.1.1
...rom http://www.oracle.com - Apache-ant 1.6. It can be downloaded from http://ant.apache.org/ So far (see attached text file for rough documentation of build sequence) I've built Java and JTA successfully. When I try to install tomcat55 it results in... "Error: Missing Dependency: eclipse-ecj >= 0:3.1.1 is needed by package tomcat55-common-lib" Jpackage 1.6 only has eclipse-3.0.2 as far as I can see. So, my question, is there a preferred or authoratative source for packaging/or a prepackaged Eclipse that'll fulfil my requirements? I've searched around and found mention...

[LLVMdev] Re: gcc like attributes and annotations
...very interested in this area. Do you currently put your work in a repository? (maybe as Tom suggested gcjx.sf.net would be an easy start - since it would not require gcc committer status). I am keen on getting LLVM support for gcj. Maybe we could also wrap the LLVM infrastructure in CNI so that the ecj compiler could be targetable to LLVM more easily. Compiling SAFECode poolalloc in cygwin create different libraries compared to linux.
Hi John, That worked for me. I am using llvm 3.2 only and following http://safecode.cs.illinois.edu/docs/Install.html So for I am able to make inside llvm/projects/poolalloc by doing such cosmetic changes. Now, when I tried to make inside llvm/projects/safecode, I see another error. kpawar at KPAWAR-LT ~/SAFECode/LLVM_SRC/llvm/projects/safecode $ /usr/bin/clang -cc1 -triple

Install vTPM on Xen-4.2.2
Hi, I‘m trying to install vTPM based on Xen-4.2.2, linux-kernel 3.9.1 (Dom0) and TPM emulator. However, I cannot find the TPM backed driver in this version of Dom0 linux kernel. There is no CONFIG_XEN_TPMDEV_BACKEND in the kernel config file. The config file for Dom0 is attached. Maybe it provides some useful information. So, how to install a Xen TPM backend driver in the Dom0 linux-kernel.

[LLVMdev] Re: gcc like attributes and annotations
This is a interesting thread. I think this would also help with compiling scripting languages such as JavaScript/Python etc. We could keep the high level meta data and runtime binding info as language specific bytecode in the file and just have the parts that are easy to represent as compileable in the main object sections. There is no intrinsic reason for all the runtime type information to get

problems with java under debian (including the R help page search engine)
...user, the Java virtual machine invariable crashes (I paste in below the bud report broduced by bug buddy). I have tried uninstalling and re-installing my java -- the sun-java6-*, see below for output from dpkg --list -- to no avail. I uninstalled it and used various other java:s (including the ecj-gjc and so on), with little success. However, I then noticed this did not affect other users on my system. If I create a new user and fire up the R help search page, it works as it should. This led me to search for java settings under my standard account that are causing the crash, but not amou...
