Broomstick - Making Sweeping a Little Bit easer
Page sweeping just got a whole lot easier! Rails only offers methods to
expire a single page but no methods to expire an entire action or
controller. This plugin does just that.

Dear all,
I want to create filename from a loop, say, i=(1:10), and the final names
will be file1.csv, file2.csv, file3.csv
in Python, it seems easer as - "file"+str(i) +'.csv , but how can i do in R

Interconnect Radio units using asterisk
...first mail in the community. My name is Manolo. I'm new in
Asterisk. My objective is to control some radio using Asterisk via web.
In google I could see that the application app_rpt had this goal, but
currently is not in the new Asterisk 1.8 or higher.
Thinking in future, I thought the easer way to do that is to buy some
RoIP unit and do the communication with asterisk via SIP or IAX2.
Someone with experience in these kind of units, could give me some
link or P/N of some equipmet that work fine with current version of
Asterisk?

SSH service not getting restarted
Hi,

problem with function
Dear list,
I have a problem with defining a function (see below) to read my testfile
(see testfile). My function only returns mydata I wish to work with
attr(mydata, 'fc') as well (for labelling a plot). Principally it works if
I do not insist on this function but it would be much easer if it is
possible to return mydata AND attr(mydata, 'fc') by using a function.
1) testfile:
Id;fc;zat;dat;hat
PG;1,3;1;2;3
HU;2,5;0;2;5
JZ;1,8;1;0;4
2) my function:
read.data <- function(file, ...){

Debian....0.9.61.... and crooked hands
Because from times of 0.9.58 version nobody makes packages for Debian, I decided to compile 61st ver myself...
Compiling passed smoothly.
But there are no Russian fonts.
In place of the Russian letters there are rectangles.
Amount of startable programs diminished notedly...
Can you explain how to manage with fonts....
What libraries are needed for complete wine compilation?...
And why

Firewall design
I have used shorewall in the past and loved it.
However, at the time it did not support brouting and
because of that I had to remove it for a faster
solution. Now that faster solution is failing and I
want to go back to what I liked.
I have never set up a brouter but I have been doing a
lot of reading on it, both on your site and many
others. I all cases what I see is a brouter/firewall

What I need is a simple class diagram of my rails website. Not necessarily
with railroad (if you know any other software, for mac, that works).

I need to dial multiple numbers concurently but with delays.
I have let's say a reception that is comprised of 2 zap extensions and a mobile phone to dial using ISDN through Capi.
I want to have a delay before starting dialing the mobile phone so that it rings only when the call has been unanswered for say 25 seconds.
I tried to use Capi/2106994444:ww6935555555 but without any success.
There is any way to do it or the code has to be modified ?

Polycom Dialplan Digitmaps
I'm replacing a SoundPoint IP 600 with a SoundPoint IP 650.
I attempted to simply reuse the existing config files for the old phone
on the new phone, but the new phone would lock up on the 4th digit when
attempted to dial out certain numbers. So, I downloaded the newest
firmware and config templates from Polycom, and attempted to migrate the

Apart from the Calysto project (

code analysis tool based of the LLVM framework ?
Calysto may be great but it seems that the source is not available (yet?).
I was quite excited by Oink/Elsa few years ago but the project is almost

Finding non-normal distributions per row of data frame?
This is my first attempt at this, so hopefully a few kind pointers can get me
going in the right direction...
I have a large data frame of 20+ columns and 20,000 rows. I'd like to
evaluate the distribution of values in each row, to determine whether they
meet the criteria of a normal distribution. I'd loop this over all the rows
in the data frame, and output the summary results to a new

The nice thing about wxruby-swig is that it is FAR easier to add support
