How to add instructions to a Module at runtime?
Hi David, Thanks for your answer. Just to clarify, I would like to create 2 3 instructions put them in a function and execute them. Do you still think the JIT would be the best option? Hi, I just deleted SSHv1 support in OpenBSD and portable OpenSSH. There's probably a little dead code still to be expunged, but all user-visible functionality and the bulk of the supporting infrastructure is gone. Sic transit gloria mundi. -d

How to add instructions to a Module at runtime?
Hi all, I'm trying to understand how the Module object works more in details, so suppose I've an empty module and I'd like to know if it is possible to add instructions at runtime and execute it. Is it possible to do it? Any suggestion on how? Thanks -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

Discussion: new terrapin resisting ciphers and macs (alternative to strict-kex) and -ctr mode question.
Hello, in addition to my last thread about a new config option to make strict-kex mandatory, I also wonder if a new mechanism for ciphers/macs can be introduced and is reliable by simple both sides using it. So there could be a Chacha20-Poly1305v2 at openssh.com which uses AD data to chain the messages together, so it will be resistant against terrapin even without the strict-kex. Consequently

...s-ctr is offered used still a safe option (or just "not broken"). Because luckily many > have removed CBC already. From our current point of view, this combination can be used without risking any real world attack. However, this may change if someone finds a way to realign the keystreams. We suggest disabling Encrypt-then-MAC over CBC as a workaround to be on the safe side here. I'd also like to stress that this workaround is only meant as temporary stop-gap measure until patches are available. > And while "enforce strict-key" > could gain some of the trust...

Huge amount of used inode handlers reported by sar -v (inode-sz)
Any help with this problem would be very much appreciated (even "it's not 7.3 or ext3 pointers, look somewhere else"). I've seen a similar post to ext3-users, but since that one received no reply and I'm not convinced it's a ext3 problem (it only appears on our 7.3 hosts) , I'm CCing to the valhalla list. We have the same problem on ALL our Redhat 7.3 machines

The perils of GMAX
gmax won't start up after the initial time. The messages I am getting indicate that it has become case sensitive with respect to names. The installer put in a directory named 'stdplugs' but the program wanted it to be 'StdPlugs'. So I renamed it. It still says these libraries fail to initialize. I must be missing a windows module but I did put in the recommended winetricks

Making @headers[''Refresh''] and send_file work together?
I''ve got a Rails 1.1 app where people can click a link to download a custom-generated file. The link to "Download Zip" goes to / controller/get_zip. That action looks like this: def get_zip @cart = find_cart ids = Array.new @cart.songs.each do |song| ids.push song.id end args = ids.join(" ") zipfile =

write barrier support in CentOS 6
Hi, I've been looking for an answer to this question and can't find anything concrete that says full support for write barriers has been backported to the stock kernel. I've read that: "There is incomplete write barrier support in kernel versions 2.6.32 and earlier (2.6.31 has some support, while 2.6.33 works for all types of device target) - RHEL 6 uses 2.6.32." Now, I
