Where is the * servers IP defined for sip phones?
...to bind to (SIP is 5060)
bindaddr = 0.0.0.0 ; Address to bind to (all addresses on machine)
disallow=all
allow=ulaw
allow=alaw
context = from-sip-external ; Send unknown SIP callers to this context
callerid = Unknown
[5010]
type=friend
username=5010
secret=cisco
context=from-sip
callerid="Eamonn" <5010>
qualify=1000
host=dynamic
nat=yes
canreinvite=no
mailbox=5010
Also I have seen many examples online and in Paul Mahler's book for one
that show host=dynamic and defaultip=some_ip_address in the same context
this seems confusing, to me at least.
Thanks

Cannot run Jact's Eamonn software
I'm using Ubuntu 8.04
wine version 1.0
I can run the install file just fine but when I go to run the program It quits all together.
I am a complete noob and cannot figure out how to get the log file for it. Please forgive me as I am extremely new to *nix systems. I just want someone to point me in the right direction. Thanks.

2.999 unable to join domain - update
...ver to port 139 using smb ports, or query an NT4 system,
the conversation fails. smbclient -NL server -p 139 fails even to a w2k
box. Repeating the same test but with port 445 suceeds.
Basically, it looks like samba/smbclient isn't falling back to NBT
properly.
Anybody got any ideas?

samba 3.0 - trust authentication issue
...st a master domain. log.smbd reports
that it's trying to authenticate the user account against the host
resource domain, rather than against the master domain where the user
account resides.
Is this a known issue at the moment, or is there something I can do?
Config files on request,

unable to save share permissions changes with 3.0
...connected to it using W2K and tried adding an account to the access list
as a trial, but when I try and save it I get "access denied". My domain
account is mapped to a local user, and that user is an admin on the
share.
Any ideas or gotchas I should know?
Thanks in advance for any help,

Is there any fast and robust to noise and slight misalignment time

Recommended packages for a statistician
The company I work for require users to request what packages they want from
the IT department (user cannot download themselves). I intend to request
installation of the latest version of R plus the 23 Cran task views. As a
statistician what are the recommended packages or packages that
statisticians using R recommend to install. I have started a new position
and want to (greedily) get everything
