How to add instructions to a Module at runtime?
...ust to clarify, I would like to create 2 3
instructions put them in a function and execute them. Do you still think
the JIT would be the best option?
Thanks

SSH1 deleted
Hi,
I just deleted SSHv1 support in OpenBSD and portable OpenSSH. There's
probably a little dead code still to be expunged, but all user-visible
functionality and the bulk of the supporting infrastructure is gone.
Sic transit gloria mundi.

How to add instructions to a Module at runtime?
Hi all,
I'm trying to understand how the Module object works more in details, so
suppose I've an empty module and I'd like to know if it is possible to add
instructions at runtime and execute it. Is it possible to do it? Any
suggestion on how?
Thanks

Discussion: new terrapin resisting ciphers and macs (alternative to strict-kex) and -ctr mode question.
...ut the strict-kex.
Consequently the hmac-etmv2 at openssh.com mode could be deviced in a similar manner, to
also include the transcript hash or similar things.
The impact of removing the only "alternative" cipher cc20p1305 because of terrapin hardening as well
as falling back to the old eam-macs is really bad for ssh best practice. And while "enforce strict-key"
could gain some of the trust back, the attack also shows, that those constructs are just very fragile.
And while a redesign of the protocol might be a good option, its not the fastest to standardize and implement.

Discussion: new terrapin resisting ciphers and macs (alternative to strict-kex) and -ctr mode question.
...mode as "vulnerable, but not exploitable"
in our paper. Terrapin works against the general Encrypt-then-MAC
construction, although some cipher specifics may prevent exploitation in
a real world scenario. In this case, dropping a message from the secure
channel causes the AES-CTR keystream to become out of sync (similar
issue with stream ciphers like arcfour, just for reference). As far as
we are aware, there is no way for an attacker to realign the keystream
to allow the session to continue. Note however, that the attack still
passes MAC verification and that an exception is onl...

Huge amount of used inode handlers reported by sar -v (inode-sz)
Any help with this problem would be very much appreciated (even "it's not
7.3 or ext3 pointers, look somewhere else").
I've seen a similar post to ext3-users, but since that one received no reply
and I'm not convinced it's a ext3 problem (it only appears on our 7.3 hosts)
, I'm CCing to the valhalla list.
We have the same problem on ALL our Redhat 7.3 machines

The perils of GMAX
gmax won't start up after the initial time. The messages I am getting indicate that it has become case sensitive with respect to names. The installer put in a directory named 'stdplugs' but the program wanted it to be 'StdPlugs'. So I renamed it. It still says these libraries fail to initialize. I must be missing a windows module but I did put in the recommended winetricks

write barrier support in CentOS 6
...tock kernel.
I've read that:
"There is incomplete write barrier support in kernel versions 2.6.32 and earlier (2.6.31 has some
support, while 2.6.33 works for all types of device target) - RHEL 6 uses 2.6.32."
Now, I understand that Red Hat (and therefore CentOS) backport many upstream features into the stock
kernel so how can I be sure that kernel 2.6.32-431.11.2.el6 has write barrier support?
Any clues, anyone?
Kind regards,
Tom
