In NFS, when I do not want a share to be accessible, I just use the command: unshare /shared/directory This make the /shared/directory imediataly not accessible. Even by some one already using it! Hi, I have a system running FC2 with SAMBA-3.0.10-1.fc2 installed on it. I tried de-installing it, but it failed as follows: [root@cobra /]# rpm -e samba error: Failed dependencies: samba is needed by (installed) system-config-samba-1.2.22-0.fc2.1 samba = 0:3.0.10 is needed by (installed) samba-swat-3.0.10-1.fc2 Can anyone suggest how I could go about de-installing the kit?

And how can I solve the problem if there is a case like that: Two samba servers. One use called "johndoe" One is the master, the other server is a kind of slave...
