hi, I've been running a pure sip asterisk box for a while now with no problems, and i've recently added an isdn2e line from bt in the uk. everything is hooked up and i've got it ringing my sip extensions, but the logs don't quite look perfect and i can't see any description of what i should consider to be normal behaviour. would someone be able to look this over and tell me

I've broken voicemail
I went to put in the new sound files over the weekend, but forgot to backup the custom folder and lost my custom digital receptionist files. I then had to copy the old files back from a duplicate machine. The problem is now though that voicemail just hangs up when I dial it. Other apps work - *70 for example gives me 'call waiting...activated' so I know it's accessing the files

Internal/External IP
I have an asterisk installation on an external IP, along with all the clients on external IPs, all routed through the same router on a /29 subnet which is then connected to an ADSL connection through another routed external /31 subnet. ie - I have 2 externally routed subnets, one for my connectivity, and one for my LAN. External lines are provided by Chan_Capi and 2 ISDN lines. Now the problem

Echo problem on SPA-841
I'm running the latest firmware on the SPA-841 and have a problem with echo. The echo occurs on all calls (PRI ISDN on a E110p or SIP) and is not present when I use the SNOM190 phones so I can def. isolate it down to the SPA-841s. The codec used is g711u and the phones are on their own dedicated 100mbit switch with no other traffic. The server is a 3Ghz PIV sitting at 99.9% idle all

Wildcard failing to load on asterisk@home
I have a E110P which I can't seem to make function and i think it has something to do with interrupts, but I've never had to deal with them before and was wondering if someone could offer some guidance. a modprope zaptel loads fine. when i then do modprobe wcte11xp i get the following: /lib/modules/2.4.21-27.0.1.EL/misc/wcte11xp.o: init_module: No such device Hint: insmod errors can be

Some echo?
I have a 12 channel PRI with SNOM 190's and asterisk CVS from January. Most calls are fine, all incoming calls are fine, but I am getting echo on a significant number of outgoing calls. The person on the other side hears a perfect call, but the SIPphone side gets to hear themselves. It happens 100% of the time to some numbers (outgoing only), and only sporadically to others. Has anyone

Mediatrix 1204
Hi - I've recently bought a mediatrix 1204 and have had a complete nightmare getting it up and running with an asterisk@home setup. I know this isn't a mediatrix list but I'm at my wits end and the support with this product is atrocious. (mine was even shipped with firmware that was incompatible with the win32 software it came with so I wasted a day trying to work out why the SNMP
