Van Dyke's Public Key Assistant
Jeff Van Dyke's "Public Key Assistant subsystem" was previously discussed

I do see a few comments that seem to point out his arrogance and some
disgust about OpenBSD's RCSID, but has anybody found it to be unsecure or if
it was bug ridden. The subject sorta dies right

Search Forms with Pagination
Hi there everyone, I''ve recently moved to RoR and am still struggling
with the basics of what used to be second nature in php, so on with
my question:
I have a database with products, and I need to create a search form
that paginates the results. What I have so far in my controller is:

big packets?
I apologize if I'm missing the obvious, but does anyone know what causes
sshd: channel 0: rcvd big packet 32281, maxpack 16384
The immediate cause seems to be van dyke's windows sftp client. The
larger question would seem to be why it's using larger packets than
openssh wants to accept. (client is SecureFX 3.3, server is openssh

Regression w/ interactions
I have a project due in my Linear Regression class re: regression on a data
set & my professor gave us a hint that there were *exactly *2 sig
interactions. The data set is attached. We have to find which predictors are
significant, & which 2 interactions are sig. Also, I nedd some guidance for
this & selecting the best model. I tried the `full' model, that being:

Packet integrity error. (34)
Hi,
I am using Van Dyke SecureCRT 3.2.1 to access an AIX server running
OpenSSH-2.5.0p1. Using ssh1 with X11 forwarding enabled, the server
reports the following error (in the client session):
Packet integrity error. (34)
This problem was not evident in 2.3.0p1. Running sshd in debug gives the
output:
debug1: sshd version OpenSSH_2.5.1p1
debug1: load_private_key_autodetect: type 0 RSA1

extracting characteristics of datasets from data()
I can use data() to find the available datasets in a package, but I'd
like to extract and display some additional
information for each dataset than what is provided by data(), e.g.,
class() and dim() for datasets for which
these are available. I'm stuck on using using lapply properly with
objects, rather than the names of objects
that I get from data()

ssh(R) trademark issues: comments and proposal
I'd like to address several issues raised by people in relation to my
notice of the ssh(R) trademark to the OpenSSH group. Also, I would
like to make a proposal to the community for resolving this issue
(included at the end).
First, I'll answer a number of questions and arguments presented in
the discussion.

PATCH: Datafellows SSH misdetection in compat.c
Hello all,
All SSH/Datafellows versions don't match properly in compat.c. This
should be fixed in OpenBSD version, naturally. An example of this is:
debug: match: 2.1.0.pl2 SSH Secure Shell (non-commercial) pat ^2\.
The match should definitely be 2.1.0. This is caused by the fact that
a requisite space was added to the check when converting to regexp matching

48-hour incompatibility window in OpenSSH CVS Repository
If you have been updating OpenSSH within the last 48 hours from the
CVS repository, you need to re-update the software again.
Changes to the Diffie-Hellman group exchange that accomodate problems
vendors like Van Dyke have seen were incomplete. The current CVS
repository has the fixed version.
Sorry,
Niels.

sftp-server configuration error
Hi,
I do tech support for Van Dyke Technologies, and I've run into an
interesting problem with the sftp-server under some redhat linux
boxes. Two separate customers reported that they were having problems
using sftp with SecureFX and OpenSSH. Upon further investigation, the
sshd_config file on the redhat box had an incorrect path for the
sftp-server in it.
The problem is that if the path
