Proposal: Allow HostKeyAlias to be used in hostname check against certificate principal.
Howdy --
I have a number of servers with host keys validated by certificates.
These systems are behind a load-balanced frontend, and the
certificates are signed as valid for the DNS name used by that common
frontend address.
This works well for the primary use case of the systems; however, when
wishing to address only a single unit within the pool, the certificate
cannot be used to validate that

Asterisk 1.6 pbx_lua not creating any contexts
Howdy, all. I'm trying to use pbx_lua as included in Asterisk 1.6 --
but while it correctly reports an error on startup (but not reload!)
if extensions.lua does not exist, it doesn't appear to actually create
any contexts.
I'm testing in a very minimal configuration with autoload turned off;
"module show" shows only chan_sip, pbx_lua, and app_dial.

Whither virt-inspector packaging?
Looking at epel-testing, while libguestfs-* 1.0.57-2 is available,
virt-inspector does not appear to be.
http://cvs.fedoraproject.org/viewvc/rpms/libguestfs/EL-5/libguestfs.spec?view=markup
shows the virt-inspector bits commented out, and
http://cvs.fedoraproject.org/viewvc/rpms/libguestfs/EL-5/libguestfs.spec?view=log
doesn't appear to have an explanation.
Wuzzup? :)

Test failure w/ libguestfs-1.0.61 on RHEL5 -- needs virtio support in guest kernel?
See attachment for full logs. Appears at first glance to be related to
the lack of support for virtio-net in the guest kernel.

[PATCH] Fall back if /sbin/start_udev fails
Howdy.
I have an appliance in which /sbin/start_udev exists but does not run
successfully:
/sbin/start_udev: line 36: /etc/init.d/functions: No such file or directory
This prevents the "modprobe virtio_net" line (among other things) from
being invoked. The attached patch is what I'm applying locally to
libguestfs-1.0.74 to work around the impact of this issue.
