HELP! sftp hangs on exit / Bug?
...l just hangs after a checkout.
If I can be of assistance in running tests or providing more
information, please ask.
I have not subscribed to these lists, as I hope that once this
issue is resolved, I can simply use ssh as a tool. Please reply
to my email directly.
Thanks.

[Rspec] Problems with autospec
Hi guys, I am having a problem with autospec. I upgraded to
rspec-1.2.6, then I tried to run my specs with autospec. All my specs
passes (green), until here, that''s all ok. The problem is that after
all my specs have passed, the autospec stops, I mean, it doesn''t
continue to run on background. The same behavior happened if one of my
specs fails too.
Is this the current default

Ogg Vorbis, Ogg Speex, Ogg FLAC
Now that FLAC has officionally joined the Xiph family,
there are three different free audio codecs, which can be
stored/transported using the ogg container.
Would it be possible to create an API and/or a library that
would cover them all?
If my understanding of the situation is correct, if an application wants
to support vorbis, speex and flac, it has to use three different
interfaces.

Re: [Flac-dev] Unified codec interface
That's what UCI is trying to do. I'm hoping for just a simple unified Ogg
interface for the audio codecs that Ogg supports.

Forcing use of gem in vendor/gems?
...one was to put:
$LOAD_PATH.insert 0,
"#{File.dirname(__FILE__)}/../vendor/gems/myfavoritegem/lib"
in deploy.rb.
Is that really the best way to do it? I guess I was sort of figuring
that vendor/gems would be preferred over the system gem library, in the
case of duplicates.
Thanks,
dwh

Unified codec interface
Here is what I imagined (just vague thoughts, nothing polished):
Let's suppose we have a hypotetical library called
"Free Universal Codec Kit" - ..um...well.. Frunick for short :)
(Of course I am not proposing this name, I'm sure the suits in the
industry would not like it...but for my example its OK ;)
Now, an application should do something like this:
#include

Should FLAC join Xiph?
...he BSD license to make
proprietary changes to FLAC. Weigh that against the chances that FLAC
will be an even bigger success if you go with Xiph, and make your choice.
I think it's a no-brainer. Go with Xiph! It'd be a great addition to
Ogg.
Just be ready for lots more bug reports :)

Streaming flac problems!!
Hello,
My name is Vincent and I have some difficulties to realize my project.
Indeed, I must developp a streaming flac client/server and I have some
difficulties to find detailed information about this.
I chose to use the platform Ices/Icecast to do my project. I took the Vorbis
streaming like example but the library has not the same structure as the
flac library.
So , I send this message in

Well, I think going GPL would be too much, only GPL softwares could use
the library. BSD is too much too because changes in the software world
(improvements, bugs, backdoors) would not be available to you. Only the
hardware

smbclient can't start a session with stupid XP
I use samba 2.0.5 on a Solaris 7 Ultra 10 to provide UNIX disk mounts
and backups to UNIX tape drives. But I have this new XP and I can't get
smbclient to connect to it, although the XP is using all the samba
shares R/W. All I get is:
/usr/local/samba/bin/smbclient //paulxp/"My Documents" passwd -Tc
mydocumentsxp.tar
Added interface ip=161.217.10.13 bcast=161.217.10.255
