I'm running Ubuntu 10.04 with Wine 1.3.26. I've installed From Dust and used a crack to bypass Ubisoft Launcher. The game starts fine but when it gets to the loading screen the game freezes. Here is the log: http://pastebin.com/Cxqcw7sk

Repeated measures using lme
Dear list, I am trying to do a repeated analysis using lme in R and a little bit unsure if I have set up the right statement. The problem is the IL6 (interleukin 6) was measured 5 times on each individual in each of 6 companies. The hypotheses are to see whether there is a relationship between IL6 and the total dust in each of the companies and if there is any change in IL6 across time

Relative risk using GAM
I am a new user of R. I am trying to fit gam model with our air pollution data. I used Foreign package to call data from SPSS and used MGCV package to fit gam. "yum --security" and staying with 5.0
Hello, So I've watched a few threads about the new 5.0 vs. 5.1 upgrade and have a couple of (hopefully) practical questions about this: Context - I'd like to stick to 5.0 at least for a while until the dust around 5.1 settles down (and I'm back from holidays). As an example - In Debian, as long as I stick to "stable" I can be sure that the only updates I receive there are

That's not enough warning. If we decide to delay this yet again (it's been on the cards since January, so I'm personally opposed, but still...) we

R and Fortran 9x -- advice
Hi, I found some bottlenecks in my R code with Rprof. First I wanted to rewrite them in C, but a colleague keeps suggesting that I learn Fortran, so maybe this is the time to do it... I like to learn new languages and do it fairly quickly. I would appreciate the advice of others about these questions: 1) I hear bad things about Fortran. Sure, F77 looks archaic, but F90/95 seems nicer. Is it

Also noteworthy: the air moving through a hose can cause a vacuum's hose or attachment to build up a static charge, which is another reason it can be a bad idea to use a vacuum in a computer.

asus-wmi.ko for Asus G73Sw running CentOS 6.2
Hi List, Just loaded our favorite OS onto my new ASUS laptop. Practically everything worked out of the box - I used the live DVD to check things out and installed from there.
