OpenSSH on Reliant UNIX
Hello, it's me again ! I tried to compile / install OpenSSH on our Reliant UNIX system, OS version 5.45 (and 5.44). The following problems did appear: 1. OpenSSL-0.9.5a will not compile out of the box. The problem on RU 5.45 is, that the compiler does support "long long" but NOT "unsigned long long". Hey, guys, I have a question about a difference between openssh 4.3 and 5.3. I have plenty of servers with RHEL5 and RHEL6. Most of RHEL5 servers have openssh-server version 4.3p2-72.el5_6.3 (kernel 2.6.39-100.7.1uek) And RHEL6 servers have 5.3p1-111.el6 (kernel 3.8.13-35.el6uek.x86_64) So there is the difference in assigning stdin and stdout for ssh connections. success on SCO5
Hi all, I'm not on the list but I thought it might interest some of you to know that openssh 2.2.0p1 compiles quite well under sco5. Although not right out of the box. I'm not using gcc on those platforms, so I had to change the call to gettimeofday() because the sco cc want only one of the two arguments (SCO doesn't care with timezone). So I had to modify those files to get it work:
