Big bug in vorbis encoder?

The top half of the image is the original wave file and
the bottom half is the file after compression/decompression.
The compressor was the latest Windows oggdrop, and
I decompressed it with Winamp (after I heard the
glitch durign Winamp playback).
The track was track one of Equinoxe by Jean Michelle
Jarre and the glitch appears 1.02 seconds into the
track. I can send you a copy of the first few seconds
if you want to try and debug it.
MP3 does awful things to this CD even at high bitrates,
you'll be glad to hear that...

Fruity Loops
Has anyone gotten Fruity Loops 5 to work in wine? I really like this
program, but I don't want to have to reboot into windows every time I want
to use it.

ServerAliveCountMax (and Client) waits for TCP timeout before process exit
...and 15 minutes for TCP to timeout).
This behaviour sets a floor on the minimum timeout value possible to
recover a connection, that I can not think of a use case for ? Can you?
The scenario is that connectivity between the IPs has been lost, or
changed, such that TCP RST packets will no occur durign the TCP
retransmissions.
NOTE: It was some weeks ago I tested this theory out and has taken me
get to writing an email to the list, I hope I got the details right.
