About duplicates
Dear Sir:
I am learning R and found it interesting and useful. However, I have a problem here. If I got duplicates in my dataframe, how can I get rid of those rows? I couldn't find a suitable function for that. In SAS, the internal code will help. How about R? Thanks for your attention.
Sincerely,
Yu-Yun Chen

Acknowledgemnts and some new stuff
Some new stuff in the directories horn and strings.
I am indebted to Nathan Sharfi for totally reorganizing the web page of
pan.zipcon. It was a heroic effort, as there was considerable mess.
Included were important help for Windows and Mac users, -- how to get free
music players and how to use wget for download. This contribution is a
milestone in the popularization of ogg-vorbis. See

(as far as I can tell) any free distribution access which is

value <- c(5,6,7,4,5)
dat <- data.frame(id, value)
dat
How can I select/subset the first 'value' for each unique 'id'?
Thanks,
AC

[nbdkit PATCH v2 0/2] caching .can_write
This is a subset of the last half of the larger 9-patch series. The
uncontroversial first half of that series is pushed, but here, I tried
to reduce the size of the patches by splitting out some of the more
complex changes, so that the rest of the changes remaining in the
series are more mechanical. In turn, it forced me to write timing
tests, which let me spot another spot where we are wasting

skype channel
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

I just noticed that the Skype API for linux seems to be available.
I've read before a number of posts where people were talking about
implementing a chan_skype with the skype API.
I wonder if there is any progress in that direction, and if anyone is
working on it.
