[LLVMdev] A quick update on FreeBSD support
All, So far I've tried LLVM on amd64, i386, ia64 and powerpc under FreeBSD and aside for ia64, things look pretty good for a first try. There are 2 unexpected failures for PowerPC, which appear to be caused by uninitialized memory. I'm still working on a fix for that (need to brush up on my C++ skills). [sidenote: In FreeBSD -current, the memory allocator initializes memory with 0xa5

You should probably exclude the .DUMPSTER folder from quota and FTS plugin { fts_autoindex_exclude = .DUMPSTER quota_ruleN = .DUMPSTER:ignore } Aki On 23.05.2018 13:29, Matt Bryant wrote: > So digging a little deeper it seems this maybe an issue between > fts/fts_lucene and lazy_expunge .. if I disable the fts plugin > >...

Missing /usr/share/perl5 in C7
...y empty. I have no real answer to that, though. But, right now, the box is stable for what it will be doing, and I've got a production MySQL server to troubleshoot why it's imploded twice the last two nights after being up for 400 days without trouble. The joys of dealing with multiple dumpster fires at a time is why I love (and hate) IT. -- Mark Haney Network Engineer at NeoNova 919-460-3330 option 1 mark.haney at neonova.net www.neonova.net

SMART errors
I dumpster dived an older low end Dell (actually, found it in a field in a fresh dump pile). Case looked good, only flaws appeared to be missing cdrom bezel and the heat sink clamp was off (but not broken). After cleaning cpu/heat sink and fresh thermal paste, I found out why it was dumped - the internal...

Old HP Xeon server blade with only SCSI HDD ports & CentOS
...or booting off a network drive? I know there are some UWSCSI to SATA adapter daughtercards but those sell for $250 which is way over my budget. So, if you had one of these blades but not any UWSCSI HDDs what would you do? Thanks in advance for any pointer. This hardware is too good to back to the dumpster where I got mines from... Bug#1029998: xen-utils-common: Please provide systemd units
Package: xen-utils-common Version: 4.17.0-1 Severity: normal Dear Xen Maintainers, xen-utils-common currently ships two /etc/init.d scripts (xen, xendomains) and relies on systemd-sysv-generator(8) to integrate with systemd (Debians default init system). Please improve the integration by providing native systemd unit files. When doing so, you can also take advantage of newer features, like

Bug#1039422: xen: ships sysv-init script without systemd unit
Package: xen Severity: important User: bluca at debian.org Usertags: missing-systemd-service Dear Maintainer(s), xen has been flagged by Lintian as shipping a sysv-init script without a corresponding systemd unit file. The default init system in Debian is systemd, and so far this worked because a transitional sysv-init-to-unit generator was shipped by systemd. This is in the process of being

Problem with trash and two partitions in samba
...office in Brazil. We use Samba to share files between users , use the trash to move deleted files as a security issue . In our file server have two partitions. Noticed that the trash directory must be on the same partition as the files are , as we have two partitions , we created two dumps, only a dumpster works. I wonder , how to recycle files of the two partitions. I am very grateful. ----------------------- Saimon Feliphe Mendes Correa www.educacao.ma.gov.br | saimon at educacao.ma.gov.br Telefone: (98)3266-1302 Celular: Secretaria de Estado da Educa??o do Maranh?o

How do we updated to the new .7.1 version.
Yes folks it's me a Newbie. Remember I am also a non-Linux person trying to learn. I have a production Server running Asterisk .5 12/02/03 CVS, and would like to upgrade it to the new .71. Has anyone come up with instructions (Documentation for us newbie) on how to do this? My server is running Mandrake 9.0 which I know nothing about! Sorry if this sounds stupid but all the instructions I

Missing /usr/share/perl5 in C7
I'm under a bit of a crunch here, so any immediate help would be appreciated. We kickstart our customer boxes and have started migrating to CentOS 7. We're running Radiator 4.6 1 (I know, but bear with me) and we just deployed our first radius box to a customer to be turned up today. (I know, I know. I had no idea it wasn't being tested sooner than this.) I was brought in

Extending nbdkit to support listing exports
...ed: Should we list only the nearest filter's exports? Or the plugin's exports? Cartesian product of both somehow? That's the background, but how do we solve it? ---------------------------------------------- I'd like to say first of all that I believe export names are already a dumpster fire of potential insecurity, and that we shouldn't have the core server attempt to parse them, so solutions involving splitting the export names into components (like tar-component/file-name) should not be considered because they are too risky, and run into arbitrary limits (what escape charac...
