ICE Candidate collision on dualstack hosts?
Hi I'm attempting to use ICE to be able to present all possible RTP transports to peers. 16.28.0~dfsg-0+deb11u2 (I know it's old, but unfortunately Asterisk was removed from debian 'stable' and the version in 'sid' is just broken (opus + voicemail don't work anymore). But I ran into an issue when the peer is running rtpengine: Asterisk offers: a=candidate:H9da13901

Dualstack IPv4/IPv6 setup with directors
Hi, still using 2.2.9, I've two directors, and these directors use both IPv4/IPv6 addresses. `host directors.<domain>` returns one A and AAA for each of the two directors: directors.<domain> has address 149.x.y.96 (director1) directors.<domain> has address 149.x.y.97 (director2) directors.<domain> has IPv6 address

RFC 8305 Happy Eyeballs in OpenSSH
>>> TL;DR: please try the patch out and report if it causes "Did not receive >>> identification string" log messages. I believe it does not. Aw crap. My homegrown anti-dos tool for ssh looks for either DNRIS or if logging is verbose enough a connection that didn't result in a login. I give the attacker a few tries and whitelist any successful candidate so I

I was able to add a win7pro to the domain!

CentOS 6 as DNS-Server
Hello, it has been a while since I had setup a DNS-Server with CentOS 6; these days I added a few zones needed for DDNS; this works but in /etc/ I found quite a strange file, I'm not sure if it was in use at the beginning I used this system as a DNS-Server, and after several 'yum update' not any more; /etc/named.root.key with this content managed-keys { # DNSKEY for the root zone. #

samba 4.1.17 on raspberry pi as ad dc - internal dns problems
Hey Peter, many thanks for your reply. --- regarding .local domains I know this is regarded by some as bad form, is actively being discouraged by the samba wiki and can cause problems with bonjour/zerobla configuration. I can say for certain that no apple devices will ever come anywhere near that network and the other drawbacks of .local like getting signed certs... should never be an issue

IPV4 is nearly depleted, are you ready for IPV6?
Seeing as IPV4 is near it's end of life (http://www.internetnews.com/infra/article.php/3915471/IPv4+Nearing+Final+Days.htm), I'm curios as who know whether everyone is ready for the changeover to IPV6? Is anyone using it in production already, and what are your experiences with it? -- Kind Regards Rudi Ahlers SoftDux Website: http://www.SoftDux.com Technical Blog:
