Fax Between IAX Trunks
...king?. If I connect a fax machine directly to Asterisk with Iaxmodem and
Hylafax, I have no problem. But between Iax Trunks nothing happened and the
fax machine registered on the first PBX give me a communication error.
Thanks for any help or idea to setup and get it working.

CDR issue
...the CDR, but I don?t know why if I calls from pstn are stored
whitout problems. Parameters that I send are:
Channe:SIP/$CHANNEL
CallerID:listener
Application:ChanSpy'
Data:SIP/AgentPhone.
Variable:CDR(userfield)=listened
Async=yes

Contrast problem
...question regarding contrasts in linear models. I have a factor variable
age with 4 levels, in the output of the linear model I want a coefficient for each
level of age.
I have made sure that age is a factor but am unsure how to put age into the
model to ensure the model knows it is a factor an dto display all levels.
I have tried doing
fit<-lm(y~C(age)+sex.....) (the dot bits are the rest of the function which I have
cut out as its not important here)
but it only displays age as though it has one level
what am I doing wrong and how can I get R to recognise its a factor?

Hi,
I have lookedaround and don't see this anywhere. Is there a way to

compiled with cc works, R compiled with gcc is broken.
--> Compile with cc:
1) Edit src/main/saveload.c: disable the undefine! With the #undef
_XOPEN_SOURCE_EXTENDED the compilation dies an untimely death.
(And the header files are not as badly broken for cc!)
2) Edit src/appl/sock.c: dto.
3) Edit src/unix/system.c: need a "break;" after default: in line 752
(yes, won't compile without)
4) Edit src/main/builtin.c: line 318 should read "#endif /* NOT_used */"
(get rids of the warning)
5) CC=cc ../configure
Note this is broken for the dependency check (ld...

Unable to open a connection to the Xen hypervisor/daemon.
Verify that:
- A Xen host kernel was booted
- The Xen service has been started
verify what I said and everything ok. My question is: Hypervisor has
to run with a processor with a bit of virtualisation?

Asterisk chan Skype
Hello! Iam configuring chan Skype on my asterisk box, doing some test calls
I saw that asterisk answer the calls but hungs up before the call are
stablished. Is this a license problem?

Broadsoft Sip provider
...ive me a SIP IP address to configure my asterisk box, when I call them for
support or authentication data to load on my sip.conf, they say me that I
don?t need such data, so, anyone knows how I would configure my Asterisk box
against a Broadsoft peer? Thanks for any help.

Asterisk and Huawei SoftX3000
...calls to our pbx, some time after
they start to receive 408 messages from asterisk and some time after this
they start to complete calls normally, I don?t know what can be wrong.
Someone has configured asterisk to wok with this Softswitch? Thanks for any
help!

CDR and Agents Call recording

the other hand I have other pbx running asterisk 1.2 that do it with the
same configuration. In cdr_mysql.conf I have:
userfield=1
accountcode=1
Is there a way to solve it or a way to match all my recorded files with the
calls that appear in the CDR? Thanks!!

from feature.conf. It does no work, only I can connect but cant send audio

Binary distribution needing 'cc'
Hi all, can you help me with a small problem. I've downloaded a binary archive for AIX on an RS6000 because we don't have cc (can you believe it, the bloody c compiler is a chargeable extra!).
however, when I try to run a 'make install' all it did was complain that it couldn't find 'cc' and then stopped.
What am I doing wrong (apart from using aix instead of Linux)?

Event Overload
Greetings,
I have a hypothetical question to pose to this body of talented
programmers. I have constructed a Service class that uses
Ajax.Request objects to send requests, it has two methods per request,
one which receives a DTO(data transfer object(hash)) and the other
which receives the request, upon receiving the request it dispatches a
custom event and all the listeners of that service receive the XHR,
works great.
My dillema is the idea of having the components which need to invoke
the service to request fresh data....
