Hi im trying to configure centos to run as a dhcpd daemon but it simply doesnt work I'm using the default configuration file from dhcdp (and tried multiple alternatives). problem is that pxe clients do not aquire dhcp addresses in the log i can see that there are 3 or 4 dhcp offers per boot atempt but no dhcp requests anyone? i'm going crazy here... .i've tryed 3 diferent

Hi I'm using Centos 4.3 / gnome When I plug a usb flash disk as root, the drive is automounted and the icon shows up on the desktop (nice). But with any other user when I plug any usb drive there's no icon on the desktop, and if i open computer, the icon is there but if i try to open it there's an error message saying that only root can mount that drive. Hi. I'm trying to install CentOs 4.3 on a "old" server. Cd's are ok, as i am able to use them in another computers. What happens is that initial text screen shows up (asking if i want to install in text or grpahics mode), but either way all that happens is that i get a cursor blinking on the top left corner for a long period of time. anything i can try? thank you.
