Printer Driver Support for samba 3.0 rc4
...yone have an elegant solution for print driver install/support for
windoz workstations on samba?
I'm thinking registry hack and a drive letter for a centralized location
of driver files, but samba doesn't allow anything more elegant than
that, does it?

Question about Samba 3
At what point do you plan on incorporating two way authenication for
print and
file serving in Samba 3? It does not appear to be enabled in any of the
alpha
releases so far - will it be in the beta?
Thank you,

Windows 2003 Server ADS problems, rh 3.0AS, smb 3.0
...opriate results,
but when I try to login via windows or as "DOMAIN+USER" it barfs. And I
know it's not PAM because if I point the machine back to a win2k server,
it works.
Wondering if anyone knows of any changes made to windows 2003 ADS? Many
thanks!

Samba 3
Can/Will anyone suggest where (which file) to get the Samba 3? I am
interested in seeing how well the Win2k AD integration is working.
Thanks

samba v3b3, SuSE 8.0 enterprise, heimdal 0.6, openssl ADS issues
Hi again all,
I'm trying to get samba 3b3 working with ADS on Suse 8.0 enterprise.
I've installed heimdal kerberos 0.6 with openldap support.
Now when I did that, I used the configure options of:
./configure --with-openldap=/usr/local/bin
--with-openldap-include=/usr/local/include
--with-openldap-lib=/usr/local/lib --enable-shared=yes
there's another config option of

Samba SSSD Integration
Was hoping for a helping hand. Trying to set up Samba on a domain member server. The member server was previously joined to the kerberized domain using realm join and a system keytab file exists in the /etc.
Subsequently I added samba along with winbind not being entirely sure if the latter was needed. This is a Redhat 7.4 server. My smb.conf appears as follows.
