Where do I get oddcast at? I did a search on winamp.com and nothing and I did a google group lookup to see if anyone was talking about it and I got back everything but what I was looking for. Further to this problem. It only occurs ar 22050 mono. 22050 stereo and 44100 mono works. are there any decent alternatives to live audio streaming [via. soundcard] to darkice or liveice? after a few days fighting with darkice, i finally managed to bring it up only to see that it takes 55% of my cpu just to encode one 128kbps stream using libmp3lame. a similar 128kbps stream only takes up 36% cpu using liveice. maybe i have something configured wrong, but i was sortof expecting darkice

Hi This poses a different question icecast 1.X is the one I see at icecast.org icecast2 - is this available as alph ?? and is this better to install now that 1.X as I did not see this on the site I have icecast 1.x running on a test box but setting up an new box with icecast on and wondering if its better to go with V2 and wondaring how stable etc it is - relay just want somting that works :-)
