pci passthrough on RHEL 4.5
Hi there, I have a Dell T3400 Workstation with CentOS5.1 as dom0. I have hidden a network interface in dom0 to pass it to domU. The domU can come up with the NIC when it''s OS is CentOS5.1 or RHEL5. But when it comes to RedHat4.5 , the NIC can not be found. As I type the command "lspci" in RHEL4.5 domU, it returned: pcilib: Cannot open /proc/bus/pci

And I still don't understand if you want to make your rb-tree work efficiently, you need to put a lot of bios or request descriptors into the tree. Is that what you are going to do? On the other hand, dm-ioband tries to minimize to have bios blocked. And I have a plan on reducing the maximum

PV Driver
Hi, As of now I have been using xVM on Solaris 11 Express b151a. And I am looking for PV Driver for Windows 2008 and Windows 2008R2. So which open source PV driver can I use for these OSs? And I feel the the performance of PV drvier on Windows 2003 I downloaded from Sun site, this is early driver, is bad. The network performance is usually 20kbp/s. So I want to know how I can get better

alsa09 driver updated
I updated the alsa09 driver. Specifically: - ripped out the ugly internal buffering. there's no need for this, and i'm pretty sure it was cut&pasted out of the alsa05 driver. - tweaked the default periodsize and number of periods. on my ibook, the values were too high. my card doesn't have that much buffer. what is there now should work on more systems, and also should
