shared_example can't have the same name even if defined it different specs
I am writing some specs related to permissions for different kinds of users. Every user has some common examples to test in many different specs. For example, all users can view, and edit their profile. Also, all users can view their own "history." So I have two spec files, say profile_controller_spec and history_controller_spec. declaring migration bankruptcy
I joined a project recently that has 2 years worth of migrations. It is about to go into production and I am wondering if we should consider clearing out most of the history. A poor decision made early on has caused the project to have about 20 custom plugins (all of which really belong in the application). One task involved in moving the code out of plugins involves all the migrations. The

Newbie questions: icecast streaming live radio...
Hey all, I'm a newbie to icecast and to streaming in general. I have gotten as far as downloading and compiling the icecast2, ices, and required libraries. I have started to configure icecast and ices and I can point a browser to my icecast server, but then I get stuck. So, this all leads me to some questions that I can't answer myself from the available HowTo, FAQ, or man pages.
