samba4 + drbd + ctdb + failover
Hi We've got drbd going between 2 nodes:) ATM there is un-partitioned space on each node but (we think) they are syncing OK. It looks as though it has synced the whole partition (2GB) from the primary node 1 to the other node: node 1 smb1:/home/steve # cat /proc/drbd version: 8.4.4 (api:1/proto:86-101) GIT-hash: 3c1f46cb19993f98b22fdf7e18958c21ad75176d build by SuSE Build Service 1:

Xen and drbd after reboot
...etimes, especially after a kernel upgrade, I need to reboot the xen host. All the VM''s are mirrored to another machine by using drbd. If the machine comes back after a reboot, the drbd devices are all in secondary mode, and therefore, the VM''s cannot start. I have to issue a "drbdadm primary" for every VM first. (I cannot use "drdadm primary all") Of course , I could write a little script that does the job for me, but I wonder if there is a more generic way to work around my little "problem"? Or should I better ask on the drbd mailing list? Rainer ___...

xen+drbd Question
Hi list, I installed two new servers to be our virtualization HA. This servers have CentOS 5.2, Xen 3.0.3, Drbd 8.2.6. The setup is ok, lvm drbd resources sincronizing, Guest VM running without any problem. My only doubt is that I can only use drbd resources inside guest vms when I specify the disk resource in vms config like this: disk = ['phy:/dev/VolGroup00/vappprtem01,hda,w' ]
