Hey there, Been googling but can't find. Thought to ask the wizards. The LLVM interpreter. I am creating a simple wrapper around it to run a script. The program after linking is about 25 megs stripped of debug symbols. This seems a bit large. Is it possible that this could somehow to be drastically reduced? Is it worth going and trying to rip things out? ...application with ruby1.8.7 and rails2.3.5, the performance of my application is not good enough. Is their any plugin or gem available to improve the performance. Concerning Samba consuming memory, I forgot to add one thing, sorry. The process listing does not show Smbd consuming the memory. "free -m" just reports a drastic increase when I use Samba. In order to handle a large vector based math library I link in a fairly large bitcode file that might or might not be needed. The problem is that linking in this bitcode file drastically increases the amount of compile time required. Is there a way to remove all functions that are not used after this linking pass? Hi All, I am using "glm" function to build logistic regression. I noticed that glm function glm function is computing many other statistics which are not required for our analysis. As our dataset is very big and we have to run logistic regression on several samples the run time drastically increases if all those statistics are computed.
