MSI causing softpanics in guest
lspci shows MSI enabled for PCI device. PCI passthrough works fine.
However, as soon as the MSI driver for card is insmodded, kernel panics.
This is on xen-unstable. Tried the same with xen-3.3.0 which is
supposed to have MSI passthrough, but the same guest shows MSI as disabled.
Any else seen this bug, or know of a workaround ?

Please help with configuration (Drake Drake)
Hello Drake,
I am doing the same... Spanish TV to my UK home, and UK TV to my Spanish home, using Kodi and TVHeadend!!It works really well, but find that I need powerful PCs running Kodi/PVR-HTS to prevent buffering.
The Tinc VPN does not filter ports - all ports are available at each end. Since you're likely to be behind NAT this is safe.
The port numbers 9981 and 9982 are only needed in the

FW: CRAN check errors: drake 4.1.0 on r-devel-linux-x86_64-debian-clang
Hello,
The CRAN checks for the drake package (4.1.0) fail for r-devel-linux-x86_64-debian-clang. This happened right when crayon 1.3.4 was released, but I suspect the problem is not with crayon or drake, but with base R-devel. I cannot reproduce the error myself, but I have copied a minimal working example (MWE) below that should theoretically isolate the problem.

Please help with configuration
Thanks Michael, I will proceed like this.
I think I didn't have UDP 655 forwarded on the remote server, will do that
(had it at my client's router).
If tinc connects, will both server and client see each other, for example I
will be able to access all webui's running on SERVER from CLIENT side?
For example, SERVER is running webui of Tvheadend on 192.168.0.4:9981 How
can I access that

Drake Tax Preparation Software
Hi,
I am new to using wine. I wanted to run our office's tax preparation
program (Drake). Using wine, I installed a workstation version of
Drake by running a program off the server, as has been done on the
windoze machines here. I can get the program to start (the console
shows "fixme:wininet: InternetGetConnectedState always returning LAN
connection", but I understand that this is

PCI Passthrough in
Is there any information available when one can expect OpenSolaris to
handle PCI Passthrough als Dom0?
This thread:
http://opensolaris.org/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=45875&tstart=135 makes
me think there might be some work going on...
Thanks

Sorting problem
Hi
I'm using R 2.0 in SuSE 9.2.
When I plot data as a boxplot, the boxes appear on the plot in
alphabetical order (of group) rather than the order in which they appear
in the data. So far, the only thing I can do to fix this is to prefix
the group labels with a,b,c...etc to trick R into plotting them in the
right order.
Can sorting be turned off?
How should I address this sensibly?
Thanks

[PATCH] PCI: Expose hidden NVIDIA HDA controllers
From: Lukas Wunner <lukas at wunner.de>
The integrated HDA controller on Nvidia GPUs can be hidden with a bit in
the GPU's config space. Information about this scheme was provided by
NVIDIA on their forums.
Many laptops now ship with this device hidden, meaning that Linux users
of affected platforms (where the HDMI connector comes off the NVIDIA GPU)
cannot use HDMI audio

[PATCH] PCI: Use pci_reset_bus() in quirk_reset_lenovo_thinkpad_50_nvgpu()
Since quirk_nvidia_hda() was added there's now two nvidia device
functions on any laptops with nvidia GPUs: the HDA controller, and the
GPU itself. Unfortunately this has the sideaffect of breaking
quirk_reset_lenovo_thinkpad_50_nvgpu() since pci_reset_function() was
using pci_parent_bus_reset() to reset the GPU's respective PCI bus, and
pci_parent_bus_reset() does not work on busses which

[PATCH v3] PCI: Reprogram bridge prefetch registers on resume
On 38+ Intel-based Asus products, the nvidia GPU becomes unusable
after S3 suspend/resume. The affected products include multiple
generations of nvidia GPUs and Intel SoCs. After resume, nouveau logs
many errors such as:

[PATCH] drm/nouveau/core: recognise GP107 chipset
From: Chris Chiu <chiu at endlessm.com>
This new graphics card was failing to initialize with nouveau due to
an "unknown chipset" error.
Copy the GP106 configuration and rename for GP107/NV137. We don't
know for certain that this is fully correct, but brief desktop testing
suggests this is working fine.

Please help with configuration
Get it connected first and able to ping the remote server's IP. Then, you should be able to access stuff on the server network as if you were on that LAN.
You should also remove the pet forwarding on the client side. It's unnecessary.

[PATCH] drm/nouveau/core: recognise GP107 chipset
I believe what's missing at this point is a mmiotrace of the NVIDIA
driver to make sure that there's nothing different about this GPU. If
you can make one (see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/MMIOTracing for a
guide - should end up ~100MB uncompressed), please send a compressed
one to mmio.dumps at gmail.com or make available some other way.

Member Server in Active Directory
I'm trying to join a Samba 3.0.4 (compiled from source on Debian) to an
Active Directory as a member server. I believe Kerberos is configured
correctly as kinit creates a ticket for the realm. Executables appear to have
support for Kerberos and LDAP (smbd -b | grep KRB and grep LDAP) return OK.
When I try to join the AD with
