expire-tool and userdb returned mail location
Hello,
I'm having problems with expire-tool in Dovecot 1.2.6 not finding the
mailboxes. I had
mail_location =
mbox:/var/spool/dovecotmail/%d/%n/mails:INDEX=/var/spool/dovecotmail/%d/%n/indexes
in dovecot.conf, but that doesn't work with expire-tool. So I commented
that out from dovecot.conf, all the data is in a database anyway. A
userdb lookup returns the following for userid at domain:
home = /var/spool/dovecotmail/domain/u...

deliver setgid issues
Okay .. have dovecot set up with following settings :
userdb static {
args = uid=97 gid=97 home=/export/dovecot/mail/%d/%u
mail=mbox:/export/dovecot/mbox/%d/%u/
}
passdb passwd-file {
# Path for passwd-file
args = /etc/dovecot-passdb
}
Passdb works I think in the sense that I can log into dovecot using a
regular mail client.
The real issue is when I try to deliver

dovecot.org DNS finally ok
...vecot.org and wiki.dovecot.org at least needs to be up
quickly.
BTW. Anyone is free to set up their own dovecot.org mirror:

I don't want any official mirrors though. They're more trouble than

rsync.dovecot.org
Looks like at least some people still want to rsync their own local
dovecot.org mirrors, so I've now added rsync support back. Use
rsync.dovecot.org as the host. You can rsync:
hg
dovecotweb
dovecotwiki
dovecotwiki2
and mbox files of mailing list archives:
dovecotmail
dovecotnewsmail
dovecotcvsmail
So for example:
rsync -az rsync://rsync.dovecot.org/dovecotweb dovecotweb

most of INBOX missing?
Greetings.
I'm having an issue with dovecot that I'm hoping that someone can help
me with. Most of the mail in my INBOX has mysteriously disappeared and
I'd like to get it back. It's all in the ~/Maildir/cur directory and
dovecot reports that 1048 messages exist when given the SELECT imap
command. But Thunderbird and the SEARCH imap command only list 25 messages:
