1.4.0, IMAP and Dovecot
...NBOX: invalid remote
specification
Digging in the code and the c-client documentation the '//' is where
additional flags would go. I've tried a number of the flags supported
by the c-client library, but the results are the same.
Has anyone managed to get IMAP working in Asterisk with Dovecotas the
backend?
Thanks,
Dan

Segfault in dovecot 1.2rc2 with quota + public namespace enabled
Hi,
I have configured a public namespace ("#Shared"). Since dovecot 1.2rc2
(1.1.11 worked fine) I get a segfault, if I try to access a folder
under this namespace when quota plugin is enabled. When the quota
plugin is disabled, accessing those folders works.
$ dovecot -n
# 1.2.rc2: /opt/dovecot/etc/dovecot.conf
# OS: Linux 2.6.26-1-686 i686 Debian 5.0

Expire plugin with Mysql
Hey guys, got a question about the expire plugin. According to the
wiki, the expire plugin "keeps an internal database (Berkeley DB or
SQL)". I was wondering what fields in the mysql table are needed for
expire to work.
I assume it is setup is similar to the quota dict
setup, so was just wondering what fields are required (i.e:
select_field, where_field, username_field, for quota).

Smooth mailbox to maildir migration
Hi all,
I have a postfix+procmail+dovecot installation, now running basicaly
on pop3 hence mailbox format, with few thousand users and less than
twenty gigabytes mail.
I need to move all of them to maildir, to take advantage of IMAP
subfolders that do not work with mbox format (so I'm told :).
Of course I cannot safely stop the service for more than a bunch of
seconds...

Segfault in ACL Plugin + user shared folders
Hi Timo,
I have another problem, this time with user shared folders:
User "markus" shared the folder "ForTest" to test:
SETACL "INBOX/ForTest" test akxeilrwts
dovecot-acl and shared-mailboxes.db have been successfully updated.
As user "test" the folder (and "#User" namespace) is not visible.
When I configure the shared namespace with
