v2.3.3 rc1 - Error: sieve: !!BUG!!: Binary compiled from dovecot.sieve is still corrupt
...e
This is correct. I believe there to be a compiler problem. Removing
optimisation from sieve-binary-code.c gives success.
Thank you to Stephan Bosch for testing this for me and pointing me in
the right direction.
My debugging was confused because dovecot flags are passed to
pigeonhole, eg $DOVECOT_CFLAGS. This is why the build of dovecot
affects pigeonhole. Once I removed these I could control the pigeonhole
build and I was able to isolate the problem.

Ok, good.
I'd still like to know whether doing this helps somehow:

Antispam folder names
Is there anywhere a collection of folder names for the antispam_trash
and antispam_spam configuration?
Our problem is that in academia, you have a vast amount of different
clients, and some, like Microsoft, use language-specific folder names
*on the server*. So we're now collecting folder names to better handle
the rare cases.
Two more problems:
1. We needed to fix UTF-8 handling in the

dovecot-2.0-pigeonhole-0.2.1 installation in wrong lib dir?
I am building dovecot-2.0-pigeonhole-0.2.1 (dovecot-2.0.5, but that does
not matter) with dovecot-config in place (in /usr/lib64/dovecot) on a
64bit Linux (RHEL5):
./configure --with-dovecot=/usr/lib64/dovecot
The libs needed for several executables in libexec such as
/usr/libexec/dovecot/managesieve-login are not installed in /usr/lib64 but
in /usr/lib64/dovecot. Therefore the executable

dovecot-metadata-8 released
Hello everyone!
I just released dovecot-metadata-8, which is an implementation of RFC 5464
(IMAP METADATA), allowing to add comments/annotations/metadata to folders of
an email account.
The major feature is that it works with Akonadi, or more specifically the
Kolab backend thereof, while being dovecot-2.0 compatible.
The module consists of 3 plugins, two IMAP frontends and one backend:
