templating problems - rhel4, 0.22.3
...master did not crash, but the resulting file on the client was badly truncated. Are there known problems either with Puppet 0.22.3 on templating, or on Ruby 1.8.1 as shipped by Red Hat (actually Centos)? Broken mirrors
...u/pub/mirrors/centos/4/updates/x86_64/RPMS/ ftp://mirrors.kernel.org/centos/4/updates/x86_64/RPMS Appears the squirrelmail and openoffice updates there are some sort of symlink rather than plain files. Broke wget. -Alan =========== Alan Sparks, UNIX/Linux Systems Administrator <asparks at doublesparks.net>

...like you have three zones based upon your interfaces file and they are not nested or overlapped......so you should probably change the policy to loc->net ACCEPT and this will allow you to telnet out to the net. ssh_authorized_key - same key, different accounts?
Puppet 0.24.8... I am trying to use ssh_authorized_key to create passwordless logins for a couple of accounts. The important thing to note is I''m trying to get the source ("root@somehost" below) as part of the key, and the same key needs to be added to two different accounts on the system. It appears that the resource name is the only place I can set the originating source

Missing latest kmod-xfs and kmod-drbd82?
Since December there have been several kernel updates to the centosplus repository for centos4... but no updates to kmod-xfs or kmod-drbd82. Latest kernel is 2.6.9-78.0.13.plus.c4, but latest kmod-xfs is 2.6.9_78.0.5.plus.c4. Latest drbd82 kmod is also for 78.0.5. I know there was a mention on the list that these modules are not kernel dependent anymore... but yum and rpm seem to indicate

Firefox Tab Cycle Plugin?
Hi folks, I thought I saw a comment on this list a ways back about a firefox plugin that would make a browser automatically cycle through the tabs it had loaded. We'd like to use this to load some monitoring systems in tabs, and then have the browser cycle through them so we have a poor-man's status display station. Does anyone know more specifics about this plugin I think I heard

Tripwire for CentOS
Hi, I literally have about 36 machines running CentOS on a private network, and will probably change the remaining 30 or so away from Whitebox or RH in the near term. One thing I just noticed was when I tried to search out Tripwire RPM's, that none seemed evident. Can anyone point me in the direction of an Tripwire RPM that works with CentOS 4.3, or advise me on how to create one from the
