Hi, I have a DSP compiler I'm trying to get working in linux with wine. The compiler needs a 32-bit DOS extender. The programme tries to use dos4g.exe or dos4gw.exe by default. ...ings a brief dos like box that vanishes in a second with the text that I believe says something like "not enough memory exe" or something. Well, I no doubt have enough memory on my computer to play a game as old as fallout (1 gb ram for example) so I'm not sure why that would come up. DOS4GW.exe just gives me a blank black dos like box, and the rest don't do anything at all. So, how do I fix this problem?

I installed the latest version of wine in ubuntu gutsy from wine repository (wine version 0.9.54) and when i try to install warcraft II from cd rom i get this error: Warning: unprotecting memory to allow real-mode calls.
