[PITCH] Improvements to LLVM Decision Making

avoiding DoS
Hi,
I was just looking for some advice on avoiding getting DoS'd from brute
force log in attempts. We came in this morning to find that one of our
Solaris 9 dovecot severs had wedged overnight due to a brute force
connection attempt to pop3 from Brasil. In the span of about 15 seconds
we received 342 connection auth attempts from the same IP:

Recommendation for dialplan in case of DDoS atta cks?
I'm trying to formulate a strategy for our interconnected Asterisk IAX peers
to failover to the PSTN in the event of a DDoS. We currently use them like
this:
DID--->PRI--->Primary Asterisk--->IAX--->On-site Asterisk--->SIP
This works fine, and everyone is happy. One of my concerns, though, is if we
get DDoS'd - which happens probably once every couple of years. I'd like to
have the dialplan fail...

(e.g. Gmail, Yahoo, uniboxapp, etc.), or worse, someone malicious does

get the idea.

Hi Everyone,
Numerous people have been bringing up challenges with consensus driven decision making in the LLVM community. After considering this and seeing the frustrations it is causing many people, I think we should make a formal process change to help improve decision making going forward.
Here is the outline of the draft proposal
