...doing its job, I've set up logging so that everything in pam.conf logs to /var/log/pamlog. In pamlog I see "user 'ganguly' granted access". There is something else that is stopping this working, I just can't see what it is. Hi all! I'm REALLY depressed! After moving from samba 2.2.8 to 3.0.4 I can not read my files. All names are corrupted. I used NO charset options in the original (2.2.8) smb.conf (which means that all names are in cp850, doesn't it ?) No I have installed 3.0.4, libiconv also.
