problem with default_mail_env

Samba and Active Diectory
problem: I wish to implement samba on a solaris 8 with authentication from a win2k active directory server. I wish to have user dorectories mounted to AD server via samba and authenticated via AD. Anyone knows an easy/doable way to do this? -regards Rich

Loading user defined functions autometically each time I start R
Hi all, I wrote some user defined function for my own. Now I want to get a mechanism so that every time I start R, those function will automatically be loaded in R without manually copying pasting. Home directory filled with junk
Hello! I'm having a problem, and I haven't got a clue why it has happened. In my homedirectory (as well as everyone elses) empty directories are created with named for example: "arbst-.6Gp7e1" all the dorectories it creates start with "arbst-." and thats also the name all the clients have (arbst-06 for example). Why does it create these directories and how do I make
