Printer driver downloads...?
...r download in Samba 2.2.x? I know about
the "old way" of doing things, but it doesn't seem to fly with Win2K drivers.
Any and all help, and pointers to FD so I can RTFD (again, haven't had much
luck with the standard docs) are appreciated!
Thanks-in-advance!

Win2K Profiles and a Samba PDC.
...want), and there's no way to force a local
profile, other than letting the Windows box create a profile directory
when the user logs in, then setting their profile to 'local'.
So, in short, we want to force the Win2K clients to use local profiles only.
Any ideas?

[LLVMdev] Simple clang + llc crash on Windows 7
...h clang+llvm versions 2.9 downloaded from the website. The input file is main.c:
void mainCRTStartup()
{
}
This is compiled to intermediate with debug symbols using:
clang -g -O0 -c main.c -emit-llvm -o main.bc
This runs fine and outputs main.bc - disassembly is here: http://donw.org/main.bc.txt
I then try to comple that as an .obj file:
llc -filetype=obj main.bc
And I get a crash with the error message:
EmitRawText called on an MCStreamer that doesn't support it, something must not be fully mc'ized
I understand from the 2.9 release notes that filety...

R 64-bit and Revolution
Dear users,
The company where I work is considering getting a license for Revolution
Enterprise - Windows 64-bit. I'll appreciate for those familiar with the
product if can share your experiences with it? In particular, how does it
compare to the "free" version of R 64-bit?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Lars.

Adit 600 resetting
Hi All,
Im trying to erase the config in a addit that I got off of ebay. I know
the only username enabled is root but it doesn't accept any common
passwords. I tried the RST switch on the front of the adit described in a
earlier posting to the list. Does anyone have any ideas ? Ive looked thru
the boot loader menu and cant find any options for erasing the
configuration. Any ideas ?

Polycom IP500 Problems
Hi,
Im having problems getting a polycom IP500 phone to register. Ive edited
the xml files and appropriate .cfg files and it shows up registered with no
ip address and if I go into the phones status menu and pick lines it says
its not registered. If I tell it to upload the log file it doesn't say
anything about why its not registering / what errors its getting.
Any advice is appreciated.

Samba with Win2K client -- dual network cards -- same segment
Interesting note:
I have a laptop with an integrated 802.11b interface, and a 10/100
interface. Normally, I use the 10/100 for the sake of speed, but
occasionally I like to go for a walk with the unit. Basic services such
as mail, web, etc. are basically unaffected (except in the area of
throughput), but SMB goes into a FUNK! Trying to access my Samba server

slow and max connection errors
Sorry about not being specific enough. I will try and be more so in the
future. Here is what I have currently:
Apple X-serve running Yellowdog (a Redhat 9 port for ppc) with 1GB of
RAM, 3 60GB HD not setup as RAID. They are individual partitions (/var
and /, /home and /shared). The shared partition is strictly for Samba
file sharing. I build in a matching user in both the system and in
