[Patch] Add NMI Injection and Pending Support in VMX
Currently, Xen does not support injecting an NMI to HVM guest OS. Adding
this
feature is necessary for those softwares which depend on NMI to function
correctly,
such as KDB and oprofile.
The attached patch allows NMI to be injected to guest OS in NMIP capable
platforms.
It also enables to queue an NMI and then inject it as soon as possible.

Strange problem.
Hi, everyone,
I am a new user of R. Recently, I tried the following commands, but couldn't make them work. If any one of you has some ideas about it, please help me. The commands are
>std<-1000
>mean<-8000
>prior<-function(n){1/(sqrt(2*pi)*std)*exp(-1.0*(n-mean)^2/(2*std^2))}
>plot(prior,1,15000)
>post<-function(n){
+ if(n < 9543)

[PATCH 0/2] Limit number of hw queues by nr_cpu_ids for virtio-blk and virtio-scsi
When tag_set->nr_maps is 1, the block layer limits the number of hw queues
by nr_cpu_ids. No matter how many hw queues are use by
virtio-blk/virtio-scsi, as they both have (tag_set->nr_maps == 1), they
can use at most nr_cpu_ids hw queues.
In addition, specifically for pci scenario, when the 'num-queues' specified
by qemu is more than maxcpus, virtio-blk/virtio-scsi would not be

[Question] power management related with cgroup based resource management
Hi, all
These days, I am interested in green IT area for low power OS
So, I have a question about it.
Is there any good idea or comments about power management related with
cgroup based resource management?
I have no idea about that, but it seems to be possible to find a good concept.
And I hope so
Is it some strange question? ^^

You may be interested in Rich's work on nbdkit. If you don't mind the
overhead of the host connecting through NBD, then you can use nbdkit's
delay and fault-injection filters for inserting delays

"==" gives incorrect answers! (PR#6691)
Full_Name: Dong-Yun Kim

Submission from: (NULL) (4.33.147.192)
Hi all,
It appears that R has a problem with evaluating logical "==" operator. The
following are a few examples I found:

[1] FALSE

[1] FALSE
> 2.7+0.2==2.9
[1] FALSE

Thanks.

[PATCH v1] vhost: avoid large order allocations
A test case which generates memory pressure while performing guest administration
fails with vhost triggering "page allocation failure" and guest not starting up.
After some analysis we discovered the allocation order of vhost to be rensponsible
for this behaviour. Thus we suggest patch 1/1 which dynamically allocates the
required memory. Please see its description for details.
Thanks,

Loudness of recorded wav-audio
Hello,
I sent a wav-audio to Asterisk though SIP and ISDN channels and recorded it
in wav-audio at the Asterisk server. I found the loudness level of the
recorded audio was too high comparing with the orginal audio. How can I
ajust it, so that there will be no amplifier used for recording.
Thanks a lot.
best regards
Felix
