Does this Scenario Sound Like a Winbind Problem?
...XP workstations to the domain. Everything has
been working fine. I run the winbindd daemon but do not have winbind
"configured" in any other way other than these few entries in the global
section of the smb.conf files on the various member servers:
security = domain
password server = domainsvr
idmap uid = 10000-16000
idmap gid = 18000-24000
winbind trusted domains only = Yes
I now want to upgrade Samba on all of our Unix boxes to v3.0.7, 8 or 9
(whatever works). I started with one of our test boxes (a member of the
domain). After installing any one of these versions, I can no longer...
