I had this issue as well; unfortunately, the fix that isn't recommended by the Samba team is to disable SMB 2/3 on Windows 10, which can break them from connecting to other systems (and that's why it's not recommended). Hello, if i set my samba-server as wins-server in the XP wokstation, the workstation can't find the samba DC for domainlogon. The DC and the Wins are on the same system. Without the wins-settings on the XP-box, domainlogons are possible. This problem is not with a NT 4.0-workstation. ...den I am getting invalid parameter errors on the windows-9x boes when they try to logon to the server. Does anyone have any idea what might be going on? Samba is running on a linux 2.2.12 box and connecting to 95 and 98 boxes. It just stopped working when I upgraded. I have tried commenting out domainlogon and the net logon share with no difference in result. I also tried using a valid users line just for grins but also no affect. Hello, I'm having problems to join a japanese W2K Client with SrvPck 2 installed to my samba 2.2.5 PDC controlled domain. Other Clients are no problem (Win98, W2k engl., WXP german). I check the regKey (for plaintextpassword; set to 1). Reinstalled SevPck 2, but didn't help. the problem must be on Client side because I having the same problem when jooining a other samba controlled
