Hi,
I have installed AreskiCC on Slackware 10.1 with Asterisk latest CVS and
Postgres 7.4. First of all the instructions are very confusing and hard to
follow if you are not an expert. But, I managed to install it and.obviously
t doesn't work. The other instructions I found on wiki are a great effort

hello together,
I have a great number of groups and users are members of the groups, of
course. When I change the group membership of a user I need to restart samba
to make it aware of the change. A simple reload doesn4t work. I have many
changes of the groups during the day and it isn4t workable to restart samba
each time. Is there any other way, perhaps sending a special signal?

I want a script that takes a copy of a file on the client and copy it to
another location on the same client .
I tried like :
cd \
copy file.end C:\cat\file.end
It did make a copy of the file but I have to press " cancel " on the
loginscript box that apears .. I doesn4t ends the running of the script.
How to solve ?

Hello!
I4m just a beginner of using samba as service to get a FileServer. My
System is Suse Linux 7.0 and Samba works very fine on it.
I can connect from "my" NT Workstation to the File Server.
But from other Workstations in the same network it doesn4t work. The
following error is the result:
Errorcode 1240
Can4t connect with this account from this station
I haven4t made any configurations in my NT. Does anybody know what4s the
problem ?

with a samba installed and serving. I have a Fat 32 hard disk on the linux pc
mounted on /mnt/hda5. I can read from the remote computer but when I try to
write an error message is displayed: " permission denied".
I tried changing the share permissions but it doesn4t work.
