R CMD CHECK doens't run configure when testing install? (Revised)
I'm trying to get ready to submit a package to CRAN, but in order for the package to install on OS X, I need to temporarily set the environment variable NOAWT=1. I put 'export NOAWT=1' in my package's 'configure' script, and 'R CMD INSTALL MyPackage' returns with no errors. However when I do 'R CMD CHECK MyPackage', the installation test fails, because

Avoiding for-loops
Hello R-users, I have a symmetric matrix of numerical values and I want to obtain those values in the upper or lower triangle of the matrix in a vector. I tried to do the job by using two for-loops but it doens't seem to be a clever way, and I'd like to know a more efficient code for a large matrix of thousands of rows and columns. Below is my code for your reference. Thanks a lot. John #################### # mtx.sym is a symmetric matrix > my.ftn <- function(size_mtx, mtx) { + my.vect...

Thanks in advance Greetings Hendrik P.S. I don't want to use skype (not open standard, it still doens't work well in Linux and eats al the time of my old laptop CPU).

Condition code in DAGCombiner::visitFADDForFMACombine?
> On Aug 21, 2018, at 17:57, Ryan Taylor <ryta1203 at gmail.com> wrote: > > Matt, > I'm sorry, actually it's fma not fmad. > > In the post-legalizer DAG combine for the given code it's producing fma not fmad. That doens't seem correct. > The contract is on the fadd. I’m not really sure what the rule is supposed to be for contract between the nodes. The LangRef doesn’t clarify on this. I would assume it would need to be present on both? -Matt

How libvirt interacts with dhcpd?
Hi everybody, I'm using libvirt together with xCAT, on the same host, for testing purposes. xCAT install and manages dhcpd. How libvirt interacts with dhcpd? And if doens't how does the dhcp server of libvirt works, plus where I can find information on how to troubleshot it? Regards, -- “If you're going to try, go all the way. sieve filtering, rewriting subjects
Is it possible to modify an emails subject line in a sieve script? I've seen references to 'addtag' whilst googling, but it appears dovecots implementation doens't support it - are there any other methods? As a side note, can anyone suggest a web based script editor that works? Simply a text area to write the script in would do Thanks, -- Ian P. Christian ~ pookey.co.uk

R 2.7.1 und WinEdt (PR#11806)
Hi, under the new version R 2.7.1 I can't use WinEdt. It seems that there is a bug in that version. To use older versions of the package RWinEdt doens't bring success. The Use of R 2.7.0 doesn't cause that Problem. [llvm-exegesis] Uops mode isnćt working
...ROR: invalid perf event 'uops_dispatched_port:port_0' I'm running this on a i7-4790K. Am I missing something on my computer or is this not yet fully implemented? This also affects the llvm-exegesis lit tests and they all get skipped becuse the configuration script determines that uops doens't work. This could be changed so that the tests still run the modes that work (latency and inverse_throughput in my case). Simple question about Lists
...98054 [25,] 1.22504724 Now, I've tried as.vector to convert it to a vector for plotting. Doesn't work. Tried as.matrix, that too doesn't work. I've tried accessing individual elements, but that doesn't work as network$weigth [1] returns what seems to me is a matrix but it doens't act like a matrix. Any help would be much obliged. Wee-Jin
