Missing blocks
Hopefully this is a simple issue or just my ignorance on the results
returned by "df -k" but can anyone explain why the available block is 0
if total 1k-blocks - Used is greater than 0?

Samba 3.5.8 / Windows error and system errors while mapping network drive on some PC's
...path = /MyShare
read only = No
create mask = 0775
I have done a lot of searching on the errors and only found suggestions
to upgrade Samba and upgrade network drivers. This is my first post, so
please let me know if additional information would help.

EXT3 and large directories
I have an ext3 filesystem that has several directories and each
directory gets a large number of files inserted and then deleted over
time. The filesystem is basically used as a temp store before files are
processed. The issue is over time the directory scans get extremely slow
even if the directories are empty. I have noticed the directories can
range in size from 4k - 100M even when they are

Help with test configuration
...I can''t
set constants twice, I thought the test.rb overwrote the shared
environment.rb file, I guess I am wrong.
Does anyone know how to do this another way? Perhaps using something
other than constants? I have tried a few things blind, but they don''t
work. Suggestions?

sticky bit, etc.

I also have the sticky bit set on /shares/documents.
Now, when I drop the file 'test.txt' in the directory, it has the following
permissions:
-r--r----- 1 docadmin lan1 4 Oct 29 17:45 test.txt
Now, When I login to the server via ssh as jdodson, the sticky bit on the
directory prevents me from renaming the test.txt file. However, when I login
to the server from windows as jdodson, I can change the filename and move the
file to another directory. So, it seems that samba is ignoring the sticky bit
on the /shares/documents directory.
