"attach" in R corr. to Spus one
Hi, I am a newbie to R, just trying to switch from Splus. I am wondering to know if there is any such command in R as "attach" in Splus which can be used to attach the full directory. Also, any idea/referrence about, how to load c functions in R would be highly appreciated. Thanks, Utsav

Plotting coloured histograms...
...already doing w <- c(x,y) then hist(w)) but the bars representing the x's should be in one colour and the bars representing the y should be in another one, so that I could see the overlaping areas of the two distributions etc. Is there any way to do that? I've read through the hist docummentation (>help(hist)) and also googled for "R colour histogram" but didn't find anything helpfull. Thank you for your attention, --

crypt password authenticate method (passdb or pam)?
...am to look at mysql database using pam_mysql module but that solution doesn't work. I did disabled pdb authenticate method and set "encrypt passwords = no","obey pam restrictions = yes","pam password change = yes" which are the needed changes I found at a lot of docummentation. I did setup pam.d/samba like the guides I've found: auth required pam_mysql.so user=dbuser passwd=dbpass db=users table=users usercolumn=login crypt=0 passwordcolumn=password account required pam_mysql.so user=dbuser passwd=dbpass db=users table=users usercolumn=login crypt=0...

Fwd: Fail to set up UEFI syslinux on ArchLinux USB Flash Drive
...//www.syslinux.org/archives/2013-April/019822.html So you cannot blame me for expecting the same patience, expertise and help in troubleshooting this new problem first with Syslinx and, if need be, later with ArchLinux. _As an example_, we might discover ArchLinux do not have the latest UEFI files/docummentation from you. So please bear with me for the time being. 2. >> In BIOS, select ArchLinux entry > Just a minor detail (but it helps for understanding each other)... > You probably mean "in UEFI firmware", not "in BIOS". > And yet, this is still not clear (at least, n...
