ICES with MP3Pro?
Does anyone know if this is possible? Not sure if there is a hack that
would work with this. I know the free mp3pro encoder works @ 64kbs... I
don't know if anything supports this yet or not.
Thanks

Enable port 80 on Win2k3 server with Websites
Mike:
Sorry, I had it in the Subject line. I'm using Windows 2003 Server.
I can bind websites to IP address, and allocate anything to a different IP.
I was kinda hoping that if I bound Port 80 to an IP address that nothing
else was using, it would work.
Thanks

You didn't mention what OS you're using, but here's a couple of likely
problems:
1) Unix OSes don't allow non-root users to bind to low (< 1024) ports.
You'll have to configure...

Also, there is a problem with the people from the game secondlife, they also
cannot connect to the server to listen to it.
Has something changed in the latest configuration? I've gone over the
Config a few times, and I'm not seeing anything different with it.
Thanks!

Falling back on an mp3 file/stream
Hey guys,
I'm looking to figure out how to make icecast fallback to a stream. I
remember there was an article or post that said something about calling your
stream name something like stream.mp3, and then it falls back to you stream,
but I don't remember exactly the words of it to search on.
Does anyone remember?
Thanks in advance.

Trying to get EZStream to work
I'm having problems getting EZStream to work. I can't find a working
version of Madplay anywhere..
Also, do I need to have lame in the actual directory? Would that be the
exe, or the dll version of it.
Thanks

Hiya,
My current set up is I have a web server set up on a separate
server to serve the flash and crossdomain.xml.
I don't try to make icecast serve up anything but what it knows how.
It did take me a while to get the crosdomain to work. It basically
involved making sure the stream...
