...d I have a few questions about how dovecot handles them. First, if I am not mistaken keywords neeed to be UTF-7 encoded. That means I need to encode special caracters using values between & and - chars. UTF-7 encoding is case sensitive, &AOA- isn't the same chars as &aoa-. But docevot save keywords in lowercase or am I mistaken? For example: . STORE 1:1 flags &AOA-_refaire * 1 FETCH (FLAGS (&aoa-_refaire)) This makes retrieving the keyword properly impossible. I just upgraded my RH9 installation to Fedora 2. To my surprise, imapd seems to be gone from the core. I noticed there are now two IMAP servers docevot and cyrus. After reading brief descriptions of both, dovecot would seem to be more compatible with my setup. Especially since I'm using mbox's. I have 2 questions. It seems like dovecot does not support mailboxes inside of a directories. Am I right in thinking this? Second I get the err...

...running CentOS Ver 4. and I am running sendmail with devecot 0.99.11. Everything is working fine except for a customer of mine is using a tool that does pop requests. And his tool is failing waiting on a CR LF in the +OK. I did a small hex dump of my old pop and the dovecot pop and he is right. Docevot POP does not end its +OK with a CR LF. Checking 'ulimit -a' with several users shows that vmemory is unlimited for all of them. How do I go about allowing docevot 1.x to use more virtual memory?? I do have a migration planned to Ubuntu 16, where I can run a 2.x version, but that's not going to happen for a while. Thanks, Shawn

Hello everyone, one of our customers using QUALCOMM Windows Eudora Version 7.1.0.9 as POP3 client with Dovecot 1.0.0 under Linux using Maildirs reports that on various accounts they get occasional "inconsistent mailbox" errors at quit. The same Docevot binary in the same environment on other servers works fine for several other customers and ourselves.
