...sa drivers are available for this card in beta, and they work for me with Linux Sound Recorder and Audacity. But they do not work under wine, at least, I don't think they do. I have set my linux /system /preferences to see the X-fi driver (in this case, it is a CA-0110 driver). I can't get DNS10 to recognize sound, but I need to know if the problem is with wine or with DNS. Susan

...As of a couple of gits ago, wine now allows some keystroke command of the program. For instance, highlight the program using alt-tab. Then alt-T (for Tools) then x (for Dictation Box). The box opens and is ready to be dictated into. This is a significant advance for those who have trouble mousing. DNS10 also has some functionality to enter text directly into non-wine programs using Dictation Box and CTL-V.

Hello, Im writing my post graduation thesis in SYSTEMS INTEROPERABILITY and im talking about M$ wine and crossover. Can anyone pointout some good literature to begin my work. I want to talk about what needs to be done in M$ programing enviorment so that everything will run smothly in wine. thanks

I started with a fresh wine install and set it up with winetricks, using the following perimeters: corefonts tahoma firefox gecko ie6 - I couldn't get ie7 to install vcrun2008 winxp winver= volnum Then install DNS10 and follow the directions. I had to do a standard installation, when I tried to do a custom install the install failed. If you get it to work don't change anything with wine. Hope this helps
