RELENG_4 buildworld fails in colldef
.../colldef/parse.y:32: arpa/inet.h: No such file or directory mkdep: compile failed *** Error code 1 I looked in /usr/obj/home/src/i386/usr/include/arpa/ and indeed, inet.h is not there, but I can't figure out why. This is starting with a clean obj directory, and nothing fancier than 'make -DNOCLEAN buildworld'. Doug -- This .signature sanitized for your protection

Problems building 4.8 STABLE
...pprox 7PM on 2003-06-23]. I set the machine up with a buildworld and went to bed. This am I looked at the nohup.out file that was generated and it had failed. I took out the NOMAN=false in /etc/make.conf - as it appeared the failure was in a documentation area. I then started a build - with a -DNOCLEAN option for speed and it failed again. I ran this under 'script' to get the output. Here is the tail of that file. ======================================== -------------------------------------------------------------- >>> stage 4: building everything.. -------------------------...

RELENG_4_8 isos?
...ding the RELENG_4_8 isos? I am building the 'miniinst' disk - that is, with the release, docs, and a port tree, but no ports. This is so I can do a fresh install without having to update the world... I am using a script that looks like this... #!/bin/sh rm -rf /usr/obj cd /usr/src make -DNOCLEAN world kernel cd /usr/src/release make release CHROOTDIR=/usr/release \ CVSROOT=/usr/mirror/ncvs \ RELEASETAG=RELENG_4_8 -DMAKE_ISOS DOC_LANG=en_US.ISO8859-1 ...this works fine for RELENG_4 but I haven't gotten it to work yet for RELENG_4_8... Thanks, Mike H.
