Can an old DOS program (like BASIC) be run in Wine? If so, how do you set it up? --doug

I use Wine occasionally for programs that are Win-centric, but I don't play games. It seems like a very large portion of the posts to this list are regarding games. I am thereby suggesting that the list be divided into two, one list for serious users, and one for gamers. Have just installed Wine, version wine.1.2-0.RC4.1pclos2010.i586,rpm. Also did the Wine Gecko install, manually, as was suggested by pclos, in accordance with the Wine Wiki page. All of this seems to work, and I can get the Notepad to work, and to print, so it sort of looks like Windows.
