[PATCH OSSTEST] standalone-reset: fix check for existing d-i and creation of symlink
We need to check for "$diver-$suite" not just "$diver" now Also when creating the current symlink only do so if mg-debian-installer-update did something, since it will now silently ignore unavailable combinations (e.g. armhf on Squeeze) Signed-off-by: Ian Campbell <ian.campbell@citrix.com> --- standalone-reset | 8 +++++--- 1 file changed, 5 insertions(+), 3

PNG diver problem
Hi, I am having the following problem and I am not sure if this is bug or I am missing something obvious. I have a bunch of R functions that automatically process large data sets. The processing produces several numerical summaries and several graphs which are subsequently put in reports. I usually do my processing in R BATCH mode on a Win2000 machine. All the graphical functions in my package

IAX2 client for "eee pc 1000"
What kind of IAX2 client will install/run on EEE PC 1000 (stock Linux software)? I'll eventually replace this crippled Linux with something better but I don't time to play around with it as most divers and modules are still too new and not fully available in all distros. -- #Joseph GPG KeyID: ED0E1FB7

Custom desktop menu entries: weird behavior with menu categories
...uriously enough, some menu entries stubbornly refuse to have their category redefined. 1. When I edit gnome-terminal.desktop and define "Categories=System;", it won't appear in "Outils syst?mes" as expected but remains in "Utilitaires". 2. I have a category "Divers" (something like "Misc") with a single desktop entry for Printer Configuration. Now when I edit system-config-printer.desktop and define something like "Categories=System;", the "Divers" category remains there and the menu entry won't budge. Most of the menu...

Simple GLS regression with CAPER
...a phylogeny tree with three binary traits: (t1, t2, t3). My goal is to test the sensitivity to a correlation between t1 and t3. But if a correlation of 100% is considered (i.e. t3 = t1). The pgls method of CAPER seems to crash: You can find there the code I used http://iktp.tu-dresden.de/~prudent/Divers/R/toy.R with the tree http://iktp.tu-dresden.de/~prudent/Divers/R/toy3.tree and the data http://iktp.tu-dresden.de/~prudent/Divers/R/toy_cor100.data just copy the .tree and .data files and run > R > source("toy.R") (please find the outpt below) Am I doing anything wrong? Thanks...

TinnR & Philips Webcam
Hi All, I have a Philips Webcam, model SPC110NC. I had to download a diver in order for the webcam to work with Skype from the philips support page (www.philips.com/support). Now when I start up TinnR to use with R, it opens the webcam. If I manually start up R, Tinn R will no longer synch with it. Also, when I install the webcam driver there doesn't appear to be anyway to modify the

Horrible problem - calls losing sound
We're having a horrid problem with our asterisk setup. Sometimes calls just go dead - we can't hear what the other end is saying. (I think they can't hear us either). The call doesn't hang up until one of the callers gets bored. Internaly we use Thomson ST2030 SIP phones. Externaly we have 3 ISDN BRI lines (6 channels total), connected to an Eicon Diver server card (4BRI).

Samba 2.2.8a/winbindd - 2K Domain users passwordchallenged
Okay okay - forgive me for being a whiney itchbay. But the fix was (when discussing *nix systems) quite counter intuitive ... I noticed that, even after using chmod #uid file, that the system was not returning the string name for the appropriate numerical uid. So, since I was headed out to lunch, I went ahead and rebooted the server. Lo and behold it all appears to work now. Correctly even.

Samba 2.2.8a/winbindd - 2K Domain users password challenged
I have a RedHat Linux 9 server that I would like to allow users in my Windows 2000 domain to be able to map shares from without actually having an account on the system. Compiled samba, configured with "./configure --with-pam". Got the server into the domain, and regular "security = domain" seems to be working appropriately - providing there's a local account with the

IMQ problems :-(
Hi I have built a custom TMB Mandrake kernel (2.4.22) with IMQ and ESFQ support. I statically compiled both (mistake?) ESFQ is sorted and working fine (I have succesfully patched IPROUTE2). I have got to the stage where I can see the IMQ device as UP with ifconfig. I can use TC to add QDISCs to the IMQ device. However I just cannot sort out IPTABLES to actually redirect packets to the IMQ

PDC migration: printing trouble.
...ser logged on, the machine got really sluggish and printing took quite long. We figured out we've got bitten by: <http://www.usenet-forums.com/samba/311929-re-samba-slow-printing-print-properties-cups-samba.html> The plan is to assign the new server a new 'workgroup' name, which divers from the workgroup settings of the old PDC, delete all .tdb files, assign the printers drivers and settings again. Then, turn off the old PDC, change the workgroup setting of the new PDC to match the old PDC, etc. Basically, we build new printing .tdb files. The question is: is this going to w...

Solidworks: cannot find a proper pixel format
Took the cdrom from office and tried to run it on Wine (20040121). (before sneaking a linux setup in the office...) Wine was installed on a pure linux system, without any MS directory/filesystem/files. The installation went without any problems or errors. I can start the program, and then I get in the terminal the following message: "ERROR: You need to merge the 'winedefault.reg'
