Dovecot Deliver CPU usage
Hi All,

of CPU. As a result the mailsystem will stop working. When we limit the no
of procs in postfix for dovecot deliver the CPU usage will come down. But
we are not facing this problem with the previous version. Below is the log
files for dovecot when the error

Is Linux based Router feasible
Hi,
I''ve a local LAN consisting of about 150 machines. I''m using a Linux
machine as the gateway machine which inturn connects to two different
ISPs. My question is can a Linux based machine match the performance of
a hardware based routers provided by Cisco,... OR is my decision to go
for a Linux based solution is a wrong one?.
Is there so much difference between these

EXT3 + ACL + SAMBA problem
Hi,
I 've setup a SAMBA server under ext3 file system which uses the 'ACL'
package ( http://acl.bestbits.at/) for restricting users. I've set
'default' permission for some directories using 'setfacl'. Everything
works fine but, at times the default permission is not applied to newly
created directories or files. I think that SAMBA is innocent in this

multiple gateways causes problem
Hi all,
My machine has got two network cards and both of them are connected to
two different ISPs. I have added two ISPs to my default gateway with
same metric.
Let a.b.c.d be the IP of 1st network card and e.f.g.h be the ip of the
second network card
i.e., Card1 - IP=a.b.c.d, Gateway=gateway1.isp1.net
Card2 - IP=e.f.g.h, Gateway=gateway2.isp2.net
route add -net 0/0 gw
